About Eppeltree
Eppeltree is a hideaway cabin for nature-loving couples in the beautiful hiking region Müllerthal Luxembourg, set in an orchard within a protected nature reserve in Eppeldorf, with a breathtaking view into the sunset. Short and long stays possible. Eppeltree is part of a reconverted farmhouse built in 1842, set on top of the hill above the small, tucked-away village of Eppeldorf. The orchard surrounding the house lies in a protected nature reserve, with lots of Rambour apple trees, which is a traditional apple sort in the area. Each apple harvest we pick the apples and pears and have them pressed to our delicious "Eppeljuice" at Eppelpress, a local farm & juicery in Eppeldorf. So it's all about "Eppels", hence the name "Eppeltree" ! Next to apples, the orchard has also pears, cherries, mirabelles, prunes, elderberries, blackberries, currants, hazelnuts and walnuts. Besides making up for great cakes and marmelades, the fruit feeds an abundance of insects and birds, and wildlife can sometimes be seen roaming the orchard and surrounding. Keep your eyes open !
The Cabin
The Eppeltree cabin is a hideaway for couples, with everything you need for a comfy and romantic stay as close to nature as you can get. The cabin has a Queen-size bed with lots of storage (for longer stays), digital TV and Wifi, an on-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, as well as a separate. fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances. If you wish for a bigger table/desk to work (or anything else for that matter), just ask. Let us know if you need to wash or dry clothes, store a bike, or charge an E-bike. We can cater for most needs.
Also part of the equipment: outdoors furniture, BBQ with coal, firepan & firewood, it’s all there.
The cabin has room for 2 persons only, with 2 nights minimum stay. Smoking and pets are not allowed inside the cabin.

Eppeltree has a stunning natural surrounding around the house, enjoy the views, particularly at sunset. Right behind Eppeltree, you’ll have access to the forest and a number of premium hiking trails through the region, among which the certified Müllerthal trail, which you can join in less than 500m.
